    Yealink Advanced Configuration

    In addition to the standard user settings under the [ACCOUNT x] option the Yealink phones also have an advanced features option settings page. The additional features that can be set, including the default codecs' and their priority, and many other advanced SIP setting options.


    Basic Settings


    In addition to the user SIP account settings there are a couple of options you can check and set if required.
    Voice Mail: *75 <== you should enter the correct number here for accessing voicemails, *75.

    When your message button is LIT up on your phone, pressing it will dial the voicemail number: *75


    Codec Settings

    Login to the IP phone web interface as per the Yealink user guide and then choose ACCOUNT 1
    Below the account settings page under ACCOUNTS 1 is another click on option labeled as Codecs >>
    click on the link to review the current settings. Our recommended settings are as follows:
    Codec Order (top to bottom) : = G.729, G.722, PCMU, PCMA
    You can re-arrange their order by highlighting a codec then click on the Up and Down Arrows
    Click on the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the page to save the settings

    Advanced Settings

    Following on from the settings available under Codecs >> there is an additional click on link below labeled as Advanced >>. To review the current settings click on the link. Our recommended settings as as follows:

    UDP Keep-alive Message: Enabled
    UDP Keep-alive Interval: 30
    Login Expire: 600
    Subscribe period: 1800
    DTMF Type: RFC 2833
    Subscribe Register: Enabled
    Subscribe for MWI: Enabled
    ptime(ms): Disabled


    All other settings under Advanced, should be left on their current default settings.
